The 21st century is a sight and sound generation filled with a multitude of images. The early part of this century requires Believer's at Mapleview Community church to have a pioneering spirit and be willing to explore the uncharted territory of winning our world to Jesus in this new postmodern culture. We believe that Mapleview Community Church is a church Body with that has a “new millennium mindset” and it has become our goal to pursue excellence in ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit and to Step beyond the seas of tradition in order to bring Jesus Christ our Lord to the city of Barrie and to our world.
To passionately share the love of Christ with the lost, guiding them into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Nurturing them to Christ-like maturity and equipping them for Christ-like ministry. Then sending them forth to fulfill the Body of Christ's mission of world evangelism.
Our purpose is summed up in three words – Give! Grow! Go!
Mapleview is a vibrant and exciting community of Christ. Here you can expect to find passionate contemporary worship experiences, practical Bible based teaching, a welcoming atmosphere and ministry for the whole family.
People are friendly, music is current and the atmosphere is fun. We desire that Mapleview be a place where you can come and share, laugh and grow with fellow Believers. So come on in to our new facilities, drop your children off with one of our excellent volunteers at the Kids Zone Ministry Center, send your youth up to The Summit for “The Student Life Youth Service” and grab a coffee or tea from the Third Cup on your way into the Worship Arena.
Here you will encounter Christ through music, video, multi-media, teaching, dramatic arts and more! Come expecting the Lord to meet you in some special way!
